JROTC - USMC Cadet News
June, 2014 - A Memory for a Lifetime on "Old Ironsides" US Naval Ship, War of 1812.
On June 7 - 8, 2014, JROTC -USMC  cadets of Monty Tech and Assabet Valley Vocational Schools join forces to spend a weekend together learning, exploring, climbing, and having plenty of fun on board  the  USS Constitution, better known as "Old Ironsides", active duty naval war ship of 1812.
It all began with taking a tour guide and walking the entire length of the freedom trail,  learning how our country first developed, as well as how US Marines and US Sailors first developed as well .. it all ended  at old ironsides naval war ship where we were going to sleep over. I turned out to be a brilliant experience for both adults and cadets alike.
The photos say it all, adventure, fun, educational experience, and a life time of memories.

The cadets got an opportunity to sleep over the USS Constitution and  interact with active duty US Navy personnel.
Our weekend ended up with a march up to Bunker Hill monument lead by Mr. Collins

Happy fathers day goes out to all.
